
This 2-day tour combines Mongolia’s cultural icons and unforgettable nature. Visit the towering Chinggis Khan Statue, explore the museum, and enjoy panoramic views from the top before continuing to Terelj National Park to see scenic rock formations, valleys, and Turtle Rock with chances for walking, photos, and optional horse riding. On the second day, explore Khustai National Park, home of the rare Takhi (Przewalski’s) wild horses, with opportunities for wildlife viewing and peaceful steppe scenery. A perfect short adventure for travelers who want to experience history, nature, and wildlife in just two memorable days.


Day 1.
In the morning we will drive to the Khustai National Park. Visit small museum of the national park, watch a short movie about wild horses and the national park. We will have opportunity to see wild horse in the nature. Khustai National Park is located in 110 km southwest of Ulaanbaatar city. Hustai was protected as a national park since 1993. It covers 50,000 hectare area and national park was known as the area of Mongolian wild horses Takhi. The Takhi is the last surviving ancestor of the modern Mongolian horses. Also known as Przewalski's wild horse, the species once roamed the steppe of Central Asia and Europe, but since 1968 it has been extinct in the wild. The Takhi re-introduction project is one part of a world-wide initiative to return the highly endangered species to its Mongolian homeland. Now there are 300 populations have been breeding in this area. Takhi is now only true wild horse left in the World The park has a bio-diversity of other rare wild animals and plants. The quantity of various ecosystems within the park assures an abundance of wildlife.

Day 2. Travel to Terelj National park, Chinggis Khaan statue complex
After breakfast we will travel to the Terelj National Park. Terelj National Park is located in the Khentii Mountains and are by its natural beauty and interesting rock formations. Terelj National Park consisted of forested alpine mountains and gigantic rock formations such as Turtle Rock, etc. It is the most popular tourist destination among the foreign and domestic tourists. The area of Terelj National Park is ideal for hiking, horseback riding, climbing, sightseeing view and photography . You will visit famous Turtle rock and Meditation temple . After lunch time, we will be heading to the Chinggis Khaan Statue complex. Chinggis Khaan Statue complex is located 60 kms from Ulaanbaatar, on the bank of the Tuul River, in a place called Tsonjin Boldog, where Genghis Khan had found a golden whip according to legend. 40 meter high statue on horseback was erected on a 10 meter high base, covered by stainless steel and surrounded by 36 columns. Those 36 columns are meant for the memorial of 36 kings intermarry from Genghis until Ligden Khaan. A recreation area, restaurants, souvenir shop and conference hall occupy the base structure. From here, visitors will ascend to the exhibitionhall using an elevator at the back of the horse. Today you will have opportunity to ride Mongolian horses through the valley with local horse guide. In the late afternoon we will be driving back to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to your hostel and end of the service.( Breakfast, Lunch)
